He Who Shall Not Be Mentioned

Govey Christie - - What have you done? - - You made a fool of every one - - You covered - up so none can see

You'll Get Yours Yet - However Big You Think You Are

Jump in bed - cover up your head 'cause Jude Juaninsky comes Tonight

You see me on the street - you always act surprised
You say "How are you" - "Good Luck" - but you don't mean it
'Cause you know as well as I - you'd rather see me paralyzed
Why don't you just come out once and scream it?

"Behold he who is to come - shall not come - until he who prevents his coming is taken out of the world" or- - perhaps there are two meanings to this Sign on the Wall of your local Chick Filet

Four countries taking on the whole world and fighting it to a standstill - - now picture four countries just like those - - On Steroids!

"He who shall not be mentioned" is NOT - - Steve Jobs, Gene Autry, or FOX Broadcasting

"By the time the song had been fingered as pornographic- (or politically pornographic as the case may be) - the song had already peaked and was headed downward in the charts - so let it be with the tea party" in this KNX rewind moment.  But in the prophetic words of Jello Biafra "We've got a bigger problem now"

Long Ago - - Shakesphere said "All the world's indeed a stage and we are merely Players - - performers and portrayers"  (Geddy Lee translation)   Metallica says something a bit different.  "There is an unseen Cosmic course Pulling our Strings- - and we are all Marionettes."   There are a lot of candidates for "He who shall not be mentioned" today.  Candidates who come to mind are Payton Manning, Sean Hannity, Mal Evans, Governor Christie, and Alcyonne.  That Superbowl was beyond Strange.  So strange I'm not even making it the lead story.  I had a dream several months ago.  Me and my Dad and other people I knew were attending some late afternoon church service.  And it was over and we went out for coffee break on the courtyard or whatever.  The east side of the "sanctuary" was this imense high concrete wall- - that was solid white- - and there was this corporate logo imbedded on the side of the wall.  (We'll give you hints as to WHAT corporate logo a little later on)  And there was all of this metal tubing or piping or whatever all around the logo.  And I asked someone "All that metal piping or stuff up there makes the thing look really ugly".  Unspoken was the thought that hit was the gigantic size of the logo.  It was so High and towering above us it has almost an oppressive presence.  The other guy said "Well, that tubing is natural gas and every now in then at special occasions they set the whole thing on fire- - you see flames leaping out".  I wondered if this were true, how some there were no signs of burn marks on the wall.  This thing was so Big- - I bet you could see the thing from a block away- - especially if it were lit up like some flaming torch.

RATIONALIZING REALITY AWAY - GOV CHRISTIE

They’re playing a not too common Derek and the Dominoes song now on the “Yardbirds” station.  I watched Face the Nation on line almost in its entirety and most all of the commercials were already filtered out.  Giuliani is really weaselly and a back-tracker.  Last Friday he said that it was a fifty-proposition whether Christie was criminally guilty or not.  Today he’s positive that Christie is innocent and all of his detractors are either lying or so bias as to be disqualified for this case.  Giuliani wasn’t on the program for that long at all, perhaps because if he’d been on any longer he really would have put his foot in his mouth.  It is true that those who are “on trial” so to speak have a personal interest in doing everything they can to get immunity for themselves, perhaps when Christie in an endeavor to proclaim his innocents, personally attacks David Wildsein for something he did as a sixteen year old in high school. By this Christie is really “burning his bridges” (not to be cute) because Christie needs Wildstein’s support if he can keep it.  Now by this personal attack on him, he’s declared outright war.  “Slow Ride” is coming on now the I Heart Station.  Christie did not ANSWER the allegation of Wildstein directly anyhow.  He said “I never knew about the bridge closure before it happened” when Wildstein said “He knew while it was happening”.   What I’d like to know is what does Christie means “I didn’t know about it till afterward”.  He also said “I never knew about it till I read it in the newspaper”.  And yet on September 11th Wildstein and Christie appear in a photograph together.   This casts Christie’s words in the gravest suspicion.  When it comes to Eric Canter, he is really weasily.  But he appears to want a permanent atarteit class of immigrants that are free to work and pay taxes here, but don’t have the rights as full citizens such as voting or running for office or serving on juries.  This is similar to what Rush Limbaugh said he’d “agree to” that they can’t vote for 25 years.  In my reading of it, Cantor intends to make the debt ceiling just as tough as it can be as far as getting past this next hurdle.   President Obama has received fewer hikes of the debt ceiling than Ronald Reagan, and Ronald Reagan, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, and George W Bush have given far more executive orders and taken much less flack for it than President Obama.  They are now saying what Obama doing is “small ball”, which just could have sexual inferences.  There is increased talk I don’t like at all that the democrats are giving up on the House entirely and are now funneling all their remaining funds into the Senate Democratic candidates, because now they fear Democrats won’t hold the US Senate.  I personally think all of this doom and gloom is way premature.

Well I turned on the TV around 2:25 and watched the Superbowl Pre-game.  The festivities officially began about eight after three.  But only one verse of “America the Beautiful” was song by that choir.  Then it was the operatic lady singing the Star Spangled Banner.  I took a cigarette break in the long lull of commercials before the kick-off and got back with time.  The kick-off commenced just after three thirty and the Sea Hawks immediately got a Safety about ten seconds into the game when Denver fumbled the snap.  I think Denver must have deliberately thrown this game because I haven’t seen anything so suspicious since Chris Christie won the New Jersey election last year with no opposition.  Before you knew it it was 8 to nothing and then 15 to nothing.  Then it was 22 to nothing when the 2nd quarter ended at two minutes to five.  It took just over ten minutes for the half time show to begin.  It was Bruno Mars with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and it was a flashy performance with a lot of lighting effects.  The show only lasted just over twelve minutes.  Then it was another eight minutes before the game continued just about five thirty.  Again ten seconds into the second half Seattle scores again making it 29 to nothing by now.  They ran it up to 35 to nothing and I slipped out for a bit to buy coffee.  The pot was empty at the liquor store so I went to the bakery and got a big cup for $1.50.  By the time I had returned Denver scored eight points somehow.  I was out again and I heard Jim repeat another of his famous falsehoods about me, and I’m pretty sure it was me he was talking about.  Just into the fourth quarter the final Seattle touchdown was scored and it was 43 to 8, which was the final score.  The game ended at five to seven.  I kept it on for the celebrations.  As far as I was concerned I was going to watch it to the end.  You aren’t going to just write off a game; this is the Super Bowl after all.  There is still no explanation except Denver threw the game.  In terms of cosmic stuff- - I have a number of theories about it I won’t comment on now.  OK I will say that the Cosmic entity that rules the Sea Hawks (and also Buffalo) also controls four big corporations and three of these are positively huge at the moment, riding high.  One of these four corporations has had incestuous relations with the other three at some time in the past.  I have a feeling there is an untold secret about how this game was so absurdly lopsided, and how stoic Denver is about accepting it.  Has somebody slipped them a little Prozac or something?

We had a big breast of barbecue chicken for dinner and cold macaroni salad and spinach.  I got seconds on the salad and spinach.  Seconds began on the other side of the room, but from what Marcia said we got the bigger pieces, and firsts originated on our side.  We have moved into page seven now.  Later on I turned on Sixty Minutes.  Considering how many penalties were called in this game, and how much scoring there was, they did well to end the game when they did, but “the end of the game sure went faster than usual”.  This will be the second day in a row that I haven’t posted, but frankly I just need to come up with “something to say” first.  Just now I checked and my blogger numbers are zeros for both yesterday and today.  Anita knocked on the door and wanted to borrow two dollars because she said “The ATM would cost me $2.50”.  Well the debit card would only cost her fifty cents but she just “had to have a soda” just then.  I assume she bought a big bottle.  I only had a five and so in anguish I gave her that and I held her Phillies – a brand I don’t care for myself.  She returned with the three dollars a few minutes later – and promised me the other two at two PM tomorrow.  I didn’t pay much attention to the middle segment when it was on, but marveled at this Magnus chess guy who was beating chess masters at age thirteen.  He plays ten chess players at once, and the unbelievable thing is that he does it with his back to the boards and calls out the moves.  This means he has to keep track of the positions of three hundred & twenty chess pieces- - and this is with every move.  Not even people with photographic memories could handle that, I bet you.  Before I make a move I stare at the board intently getting a geographic sense of what I need to do.  They had a second episode of America’s Funniest Home videos at eight, which is going on right now.  It was sprinkling ever so lightly outside just now - - and one can hope that the predicted rain materializes.
