A Final Look at the News Before the Elections

In terms of the elections tomorrow, this is the tea party’s finest hour.  They are about to experience their third and final term in power in congress, and then they will be out in the cold after 2016.   I imagine the smarter ones among them already know that day will be here before they know it.  Meanwhile Thom Hartman says that national public radio has been heavily influenced by the corporate right wing.   Twice Hartman reports shows where Corrie Gardener has been highly praised - - as the better next senator from Colorado.  And contrary to what he claims, Gardener will be a strong advocate for the far right.  But the tea party right has received a last minute influx of funds these past couple of weeks, and the rise in the polls for republicans is not any coincidence.  Because they don’t have to report any funds after October 15th and so on October 16th a bunch of new right wing political action committees joined the campaign that didn’t exist before, or else they were set up in January and only after the fifteenth became active.  It is said this will be the most thorough manifestation of tea party corporate money we’ve ever seen that surpasses wither 2010 or 2012.   Of course if they win according to the “experts” it will be NOT what they want.  Because things are “Perfect” now for them, if you know what I mean, with constant congressional gridlock and the LAST thing they ever wanted to happen was to cooperate with the President on ANYTHING, so why start now?   The way they have it now is as close to perfect as anyone could wish for.  They control the media, especially all of the powerful AM radio talk show stations.  They control the message and what is considered important and what is not.  They portray the President as “slipping badly” or worse yet “falling apart” or “going into a tail-spin” in the polls, yet those polls have scarcely budge a few percent all year.   They won’t talk about corporate money in congress or how it corrupts campaigns.  They won’t talk about Wall Street corruption and the SEC looking the other way, and they most certainly WON’T talk about the influence of lobbyists in the governmental process.  You WILL hear talk about “professional politicians”, but keep in hind their alternative is a corporate lackey who knows nothing about the proper business of government or about passing laws in any normal procedure, but is good at following directions as laid down by people like Sheldon Adelson.  You know all this.   The next two years will be really bad but it will be the final two years- - EVER - - that the American people even have to worry about them.

Stephanie Miller right now is saying there is moral inconsistency because they’d never allow Hillary Clinton to stay in the race if she blew up at someone and said “Sit down and shut up” but because Christie is a big, white fat guy he can get away with it.  But if Obama did it he’d be an “angry Black man”.   It seems that Gardener in Colorado and Joni Earnst in Iowa will be the heartbreakers because “something happened” in both races to turn the tide in favor of republicans in a major way in those two races.  There is a list of fourteen things the press is not telling you about the accomplishments of the Obama administration.  We’ve had either 56 or 63 straight months of private sector jobs growth - - and the deficit is not even forty percent of what it was the final months of the Bush administration.  The average tax American citizen’s pay now is the lowest in over fifty years, and elective government spending is the lowest since President Eisenhower.   Seven more people have health insurance.  They should have learned in 2000 from the example of Al Gore running away from Clinton’s good record.  If these were anything approaching normal times, the President would have a good record.  It’s so strange that we have all of this economic good news AND the American people have always regarded jobs and the economy as the number one issue - - and gasoline prices are still falling- - and yet there is all this talk of terror and terrorism whipped up by the “Drive by media”.   The media has been a major boost to the hopes of the Republicans, repeating everything Reinz Previs puts out.   We had corn flakes for breakfast and I got there a minute or so late.  We had two waffles and a big piece of bacon, and Paul Evans gave me more coffee- and I shared about half of that with Gary, and the coffee was decent this morning.  I bookmarked the Rude Pundit blog post on blogpost.com.

Risky Business

So, should the national government have power over our clocks?  Every year involving a national Daylight Savings Time statute has ended in a seven.  In 1967 we established national daylight saving.  In 1987 we expanded the weeks of daylight savings time effective that year, and in 2007 the effect of another such expansion occurred again.  The Christian Science Monitor said that we don’t save any energy in this clock changing process and in places like Indiana they actually expend more because of added electricity costs for air conditioning on warm evenings in the summer and on those dark mornings with heating and lighting in the fall.   I think if you asked vast segments of people from Trick or Treaters having to go out while it’s still light out, to school kids getting up in the morning, or people commuting to work in their cars in the dark - - these would agree DLST is no good.  Leo Le Port states that there is a strong lobby of a very limited constituency that profit from DLST.  These are golf courses, makers of barbecues, and the petroleum industry.  To me it’s a joke that so many states have bought into all this when logically- states are given permission to exempt themselves from the program entirely but almost no states have chosen to do that- only Arizona and Hawaii right now.  Some areas of the Union benefit from DLST more than others.  We in Southern California benefit from it – most of the time.  But it’s got to be pruned back.  Originally California only had daylight savings time for five months- and I don’t see any reason why we can’t return to this more sensible length on a national basis.  I have my own theory as to when we should go on and off of it, based on Sports.  We should go OFF daylight savings time the Sunday after Labor day of every year. Because this is when the first Sunday NFL game happens.  We should go ON daylight saving time – in my theory an equal number of weeks every year or start and stop parody.  And I pick a time when the college basketball playoffs are completely over and they’d had the Final Four.  Daylight Savings time should start no sooner than April 6th and no later than April 12th.  These numbers cam be memorized because both are devisable by six and also because they come one week BEFORE an official “teen” number.  Also both dates should approximately be an equal number of days either after the spring equinox or prior to the fall equinox.

The Chris Matthews show played that anti Prop 46 commercial at three times the volume of everything else, and they played it every darned time there was a break.  The point was well made that if we have the documented footage of Governor Christie in public acting like a bully, I don't think it's improper to extrapelate or reason that he will behave that way - or more explicitly even - in private, mono a mono.  I watched all of Friday’s show and the first long segment of Thursday’s show.   In terms of Mary Laudreau calling the state of Louisiana racist or “Louisiana hasn’t always been the friendliest state for Black people” anyone with any sense from the Republicans would just leave that statement alone.  But they can’t leave it alone- just like they can’t leave the Ferguson, Mo situation alone.  It’s in their blood and they have to get in front of the TV cameras and continue to make fools of themselves.  One of Thom Hartman’s assertions has been vindicated just now.  In “The Week” magazine they repeated the assertion that California open carry gun laws were changed in 1968 because of the presence of the Black Panther party at the statehouse in Sacramento.  There was some quotation from 1892 that it was a source of pride among Black households to have a firearm at their side as kind of an “equalizer” to protect against lynchings.  I must say I’m not used to thinking of the gun control debate in terms of race.  However I must confess that it’s a common fact that almost all famous assassins and mass murders of renound have been White.  So as such I have viewed if only on a subconscious level that “A reduction of firearms proliferation is a reductions of dangerous weapons in the hands of White people”.   It almost makes you wonder whether the NRA isn’t committing suicide in encouraging more of “those people” to go out and arm themselves- - to protect against people THEY regard as dangerous.

In the words of General Patton, sometimes you have to get really graphic to drive the point home so you won't forget it.  Suppose one night in your kitchen you see a few cockroaches.  You ignore it but then seeing more the next night you have in the meantime armed yourself with a can of Raid.  You spray.  The next night even more bugs come out than before- - so you spray more thoroughly this time.  The following night you seem hopelessly inundated.  Those cockroaches are everywhere.  What has happened.  Obviously you have a regular cockroach invasion from "somewhere" like your neighboring apartment leaving food out and you get the spill over.  Now let's consider tonight's Mc Laughlin group.  The prospective Black voters ARE the cockroaches, and the photo ID and other blocks to registration is the bug spray.  Therefore it is pointless to say that in isolated areas more Blacks are registering than before the bug spray - - ur uh - the restrictions on voter registration were applied.  The Mc Laughlin group has done their expert voter profile analysis and concluded that overall the Republicans will pick up nine senators in take-away from the democrats, but that the Democrats will snatch two from the Republicans giving an overall net gain of Seven Senate Seats, which is one more than is required for the Republicans to take over.  Where I disagree with the group findings is their assertion that the Republicans will pick up seats in the House.  This is wrong.  I believe the democrats will pick up seats in the House of Representatives, but unfortunately, not enough to take control of the House.

I failed to find much enlightening when it came to "Light Room" verses "Photo Shop" technologies for image editing.  I can "perform the surgery" of editing out people - - and even Vince said I caught on doing that pretty quickly - - but I use Photo Impression for that.  I am uncertain why you would need a "subscription" for something you should own outright, and I just checked to make sure my Photo Impression CD was secure - if I should replace my computer.  Photography is like advertizing or politics - - controling the imaging - - catering to people's carnality and/or aesthetics.  You won't be able to "sell" anything, unless you make it appealing.   With photography it's about substance framing - (you've heard is "issue" framing, or "framing the debate) - - and of course lighting- and all that entails - and point of view (another word with a double meaning) - alias lens F aperture3.5 is considered 'normal" according to Dad, and I am in agreement with that.  When you have the thing set at 3.5 generally it's with the lens wide open.  My lens is 2.7 which means I know I'm going to have "more image than photographers are generally used to.  You can choose to deliberately make certain things either in the foreground of background out of focus - or not.  With political advertizing you can change the music from a gloomy selection when talking about your opponent, to an upbeat happy little ditty when discussing the virtues of your own candidate.   We know that with either a political crook or a religious person - - as knowledge increases, the material your opponent has to work from gets less and less.  As enlightenment grows on your part- - the realm of the Unknown shrinks, but only a little in too many cases, since there is so much that you Don't Know.  (Selah)  One of our mystery rock group origens is now Solved.  "Guns and Roses" is an Alpha Virgo group as is by the way "Tears for Fears", which is the other group we didn't know the cosmic identity of. This is the same Cosmic group Radio Head is in.  I guess Clowie Lane has been an alpha female in her life, but she's never been an alpha Virgo.

Life is simple if you’re a Christian.  There is this great conflict of God and the Devil and since God is mightier, he is assured to win any battle.  In fact Christianity goes on to assure us that the devil has ALREADY been defeated!   Right here of course you already see the break-down in logic.  It’s like fundamentalists tell you there is mighty power in prayer, but when you try prayer borne out of that newfound belief, and the thing does not come to pass, then you get raked over the coals by that same Pastor for any number of reasons.   My view of God these days does not admit to God being some sort of “partner warrier” with you.  It was Jesus Himself who stated “You don’t have the power to turn one hair on your head from white to black”.  If we lack this miniscule control over the smallest event outcome- - how can it be said we can get to God to intervene on any affair we are involved in?   For the Federation life is not so simple.  There is not some monolithic “Devil” out there like the Klingons we can just go in there and “Waste”.   To a degree it’s like giving anti-biotics.  These do not work against viruses, as I have found out with this cold I’ve had.  Also you can wipe out the good with the bad, which is what happened with my Dad.  Your gut has a lot of good flora and fawna in it.  You should listen to it.  Now it is said that “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”.  No.  They BOTH might be your enemies but they can be pitted against each other.  The problem with the game of risk is that so many unknown factors are beyond your control.  You don’t know whether you need a good strategist to win the game, or a prognosticator.  Because alliances may form among your enemies which will do you in.  Or it could come to pass that with the right goading and prompting on your part, you can get two or more of your enemies to hate and thus fight each other.  For instance in the Cosmos - - there is not one monolithic source of “Tea party evil”.   We know all the evil chemical companies out there such as Dow, and Du-pont, Monsanto, and Koch Brothers.  Many of these ,ale the grand pitch about making products better and safer for your everyday lives.  Yet they are not one of cosmic origen- - but there is the factor of the “common need” driving rivals to make common cause with each other.  We liberals could learn from this.   Now there are some rivalries you can exploit- - we know the Edomized Centaurians hate the Alcyonized Sutterans.   But I now realize that being President is not as simple of “Showing your enemies your big stick and expect all of them to start running”.   Like I say- life is only that simple in Bible literature.

More Messages from the Other Side

Warning:  This medication should never be taken by anyone who has been informed by their doctor that they are a carbon based life form.

As we approach straight up six in the morning on this final dark day of Daylight Savings Time, let’s discuss Proposition 48.  The opponents of this measure have not been entirely honest with us (big surprise) here.  The way the opponents talk it’s like the Casinos will be built across the street from your local Junior High school and kids will be saving their lunch money to gamble with.  No.  This casino will be built outside of Barstow, which, for anybody who knows how to read a map means you’d have to travel farther to get to this casino than others that are already closer by.  The tribe does not own this land but have all the zoning and permits ready to go - - and if you still want to vote “No on 48” at least know what you’re doing.  You know, I’d be tempted (I said, “tempted”) to pull a William Reinquist on this one as per the Bush v Gore supreme court ruling.  I’d rule in favor of the Tribe on this one if it were a case, but I’d also stipulate that “This case cannot be used as a precedent for any subsequent case”.

This is Saturday morning “El Dia de los Muertos” or the day of the dead.  By the day that is also a Romulan holiday, and some of you wondered- including me- - whether Regelus V celebrates holidays based on earth years or of so why they would do it.  First of all you may remember that Romulans lived in Ireland for several centuries back when the years were just triple digits- - so absorbed a lot of Catholic culture in that period.  But I didn’t know a couple of days ago that Regelus V has less than a two degree axis tilt with reference to its home star- - and as such it really doesn’t lend itself to seasons as we know them here.  Other big holidays are Luprical on February 15th and St Patrick’s Day, and also the death of the god Bauccus - - god of wine and song - - that’s celebrated on August 5th.  Some are spreading the rumor that this date was picked because it’s the day Marilyn Monroe died.   At any rate it’s kind of a seasonal thing that has its roots in the Jewish ninth of Av, which was the day the Babylonians breeched the walls of Jerusalem six centuries before Christ.  Sirius A Romulans are less observant.

We have a new planetary civilization to tell you about, the Lockadians.   These people are from a star “nearby” to the Berliners- - which helps little because I don’t know where that star is either.  But the Lockadians have a “looser association” with the Federation than the Berliners from a legal standpoint.  (And I don’t know what that means, either)   But there are some really big groups, especially for you who were in high school during the early eighties.  The groups are Weird Al Yankivick, Julie Brown, Moon Zappa, Elvis Costello, Tommy 2-Tone,  The Waitresses, and songs like “Don’t You Want Me, Baby” and ‘Playing with the Queen of Hearts”. Elvis Costello would be considered the pilot group here, obviously, the first goer.  But don’t go adding groups on your own to these.  Some people have tagged this culture “The conjunction junction” because these songs were popular mostly around the planetary conjunction of early 1982 when way back Jeane Dixon was predicting the end of the world.

The political climate is getting pretty hysterical these days.  Governor La Page of Maine is unhappy that a court judge ruled that Casey Hickock could end her quarentine if she will follow a few compromise stipulations laid down.  She agreed.  The Iowa lady's remarks about castrating hogs is a misplaced analogy.  How about showing Obama in an Uncle Sam outfit and having a captian "Don't Castrate our governmental process by electing this woman.  Keep Uncle Sam's balls intact! Another private rocket blew up over the Mojave desert yesterday - - but the private interests are determined that these two disasters in one week won’ detur private space travel development, nor should it.  Apparently there was a solar flair twenty times the size of planet earth the other day, which should be a cause of major magnetic interference and “bit flipping”, which is about as bad as the vote flipping from blue to red that will be going on in a lot of voting machines on Tuesday.  I have gotten nothing from the Regestrar of Voters, however two different callers from the Republican party have commended me saying “I see you have a good voting record” and wanted me to support Young Kim, which of course I would not commit myself to doing, having heard about her.   Sean Hannity keeps carrying on about how this President “Is not Protecting Americans from the many dangers out there” be it pot smuggeling illegals crossing in from Mexico with calves the size of cantaloupes, or else maybe Al Qaeda crossing the Rio Grande and leaving their prayer clothes as a token that they’ve been here- - or else it’s ISIS, and you know the drill.  “If we don’t fight them over there, we’ll just have to fight them here”.  Well. I have a Rush Limbaugh expression to respond with,  - - “Don’t poke the bear”.   Apparently any Republican governor has the “inherent right” to quarantine anybody he feels he needs to.   I never studied “inherent rights’ in my study of Government in high school.  Apparently “Inherent rights” are just rights you have, or think you have, even though they aren’t spelled out in any constitutional document.  Now the anti proposition 45 people are going completely nuts calling the thing a “power and money grab”, when of course this proposition merely makes insurance companies JUSTIFY rate hikes.

Well, we’ve finally heard from Stewart Sutcliffe and John Lennon on different matters,  John Lennon stated that he actually LIKES our “blue transparent vinyl version” of the White album because “At least a favorite song I actually sing gets included, without all of George Martin’s playing around in the control room” substituting “Mary Jane” for “Revolution 9”.   John says “All four of the Beatles get a fairer shake on this compilation”.  And Stewart chimed in - - not about Jack Bruce (which never came up) but rather on this democratic senatorial candidate from Nebraska.  Stu supports this guy who was given time on the Sean Hannity show last week because he was accused of being a Ukranian Nazi sympathizer or something and went into all this legal mumbo jumbo about how technically “No court has ever said that I was a Nazi” or something.  I was ready to dismiss the guy as one wing nut democrat that SHOULD be voted down, but Stewart vouches for his character and supports his candidacy.  And we were talking about the demento song “Fat Irving”, which Stu says “Is a very un-funny song” and also mentioned that Richi Valenz calls it “The most retarded song I’ve heard in my life”.   It’s kind of one of these things of- - not nose blindness but continence blindness where like Sonny and Will kissing each other romantically the other day - - that Bill had to explain to Olivia about, that they were gay, if certain things no longer “bother you” it can be a bad thing.

In other news there is this “Hello, Kitty” convention I thought was about a forty year old porn star.  Instead it’s a Japanese comic strip.  The man they’ve been looking for for two months who shot two Pennsylvania state troopers, was finally apprehended yesterday.  And that mean who disappeared from the Broncos game at halftime when the son visited the restroom, he returned.  He had just flipped out and said “I was tired of football so I left’.  He wasn’t kidnapped.  And that big lake by Mission Viejo and Lake Forest- - apparently doesn’t have sovereign rights even though it’s privately owned.  To me this is a clear case of state encroachment if they are going to mandate that the lake be drained because too much water evaporates from it.  It will drive real estate values down, and is the state ready to compensate all these lost property values?  The housing association has proposed a number of other possibilities.  Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple - - has “come out”.  Tim Cook is gay, which means people still are “in the closet in this day and age.   And finally the State Lottery is corrupt because Quickie Mart shop owners take all the winnings for themselves and substitute a losing ticket- - and grab the customers winning ticket.  But I say- just don’t play.

Allright cats and kittens - time for the bonus question.  We said "Don't go adding groups on your own" but there is I believe a "one hit wonder" song we deliberately left off that list.  Think of a famous name for something cats love to chase, and also Weird Al did an inferior "cover version" of this song in Spring 1983

San Francisco Giants Win World Series Game 7

The San Francisco Giants won the World Series winning game seven 3 to 2.  Of course they had to play it out to the end of the ninth because they were in Kansas City.  It was the third time the Giants won in five years, and the other two times were 2010 and 2012.  The past couple of evenings they’d had the game in the back TV room.  But for Tuesday’s game six- - I grew discouraged when the Giants had the bases loaded with one out- and then the next guy hits into a double play.  You should never plan on “small ball” with a situation like that.  I was so discouraged I turned the station- - and it was seven or eight to nothing already.  Last night the hero of the game was Madison Bumgardener.  He cane in at the bottom of the fifth inning and stayed in the rest of the game.  They were saying “We’re going to ride that horse to victory- and nobody ever had any inclination to take him out”.  Bumgardener threw a lot of pitches in the game and it was a battle of wits until the Royals blinked and the final out was a pop up - - and they interviewed the guy who caught the ball.  They interviewed all the principals.  I watched the World Series trophy presentation- - and also the MVP awards.  The game ended about 8:30.   I’m not sure why this black band suddenly appears on a page.  Saving gets rid of it.    We are on page four right now.  Then it was the end of “Arrow” for 15 or 20 minutes- - and then it was “The 100” and I watched the first long segment of the program before going to bed.

There are rivers of fire of two thousand degree molten lava-  - from Kilauah volcano, which apparently began erupting way back last June, and  just now it’s reached a major town, and of course anything in its path is insinerated, and there is really no way to divert the lava, and even if there were, there are cultural things about the lava being sacred.  In the mews the last couple nights- - they recycle stories.  A couple nights back this Antares rocket - - with Soviet engines from 45 years ago- - blue up about eleven seconds off the launch pad.  And when it starts to blow up- - they have an additional self distruct button they use.  They have been reminding us there has been an increase in sunspot activity - - and more magnetic storms - - which are things that go along with “global warming” -  of course of a natural origen.

Of course- - quarantine is nothing for Stephanie because she “self quarantines in her basement all the time.   We come to Casey Hitchcock - - who is self quarantined in a house in Maine and state troopers are out guarding her house.  Hitchcock said she was going to break her quarantine in Thursday, which is today- and she went out bike riding with her boyfriend, so Stephanie had to play “Bicycle”.   Governor Christie got in a shouting match with a heckler yesterday saying he hasn’t well served storm victims in New Jersey.  President Obama is rattled because all of these states are now adopting quarantine laws- apparently including California.  But of the mini epidemic of “six people” the only person currently still sick is this Doctor Spencer of New York.  Apparently the word “Spencer” is Yiddish for “grocer”, just in case you were wondering.   You hear a lot of talk today about “not fighting the science” and “giving the people who went to Africa their due respect”.  However Chuck Hagal and the Defense Dept does have a 21 day quarantine period for the US military who have been sent to Liberia.  You have this governor Le Page in Maine, who is kind of a wing nut but running for reelection.  We hear on Mike Papentonio about all of these Republican governors who want to privatize everything and end up serving prisoners maggot laden food from dealing with corrupt companies.

Thom Hartman just now broached this idea with upside potential but about which I have a number of ethical questions.  There is a list they keep of who voted and who didn't and the Republicans are trying to shame people into voting by fingering them to their friends.  And Thom Hartman wonders whether democrats might be able to make use of a tool like this.  I can see right now how this would be a bonanza for ad companies targeting computer ads to just you- - among other possible corporate invasions of your privacy.  And who's to say that some employer out there might suddenly begin profiling employees on whom they voted for, assuming THAT information is also available, and there is no reason why it wouldn't be.  But to use a Rush Limbaugh argument in a different topic- - they can profile by WHAT was a big issue in any given election and profile now people who didn't vote all the time but voted in THIS election MIGHT probably have voted.  I hope I am still registered even though I haven't received any ballot stuff in the mail this election season.  If I have to reregister it will be too late for this time- but then I"ll definitely make my move to the democratic party, when I seem to alternate between parties every time I reregister.

Tuesday I was listening to Norman Goldman’s rant on how “The Republican party is the party of default” because they are viewed b y the American people as “the party of safety”.  This is strange to me.  People want a party of strength, of police power, and war, and security and not to put too fine a point on it- - safety.  I wasn't sure they'd be able to keep this Ebola hype thing going right up through the election but that has been no problem.  Of course the Media frames the debate even on measures people might not have actually READ themselves like Propositions 45 and 46 here in California where the obvious move is to vote Yes on both.  But if all the people hear are the ads on TV I fear that the public has become so simple minded that even the most childlike ploy to regression to a previous imature mental state- is all people need to trigger that "default" response that Norman Goldman talked about.  Of course the Media will never talk about lobbyists or the actions of the drug companies and their influence on doctors - - or Wall Street and the fact that 'Too Big to Jail" is not just rhetorical hyperbola, but actual fact, and ongoing reality with the FTC.   It's a virtual certainty that you can commit whatever High Crime you want in the financial world today with near zero probability of ever being fingered for it.  And of course if there ARE any fines levied- - the Guilty party doesn't pay because it's "The corporation" so the innocent share holders are the one footing the bill.  As things currently stand- - from what I hear from the media (whether you can trust them is another matter) that most of these Republican governors will be reelected.  They may be as corrupt as hell and pure phoney bologna as far as their "economy measures" and such- - - and most of all it's a pure power grab by them- - seemingly not caring about either local city sogreignty or anybody elses' rights or any sense of historic precedent.  You know the states - Kansas, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, Texas - and perhaps Ohio, though that guy isn't as bad.  And then we have the US senate and the question seems to be at this point "How many EXTRA seats will the republicans capture in the Senate?   I haven't posted since Monday partially because the news is so bad, it's too depressing to think about, and I've been sick - - and also busy at the same time - never a good combination.  It's going to be a crappy world when even more of President Obama's judicial and cabinet appoints go begging for months or even years on end- - and even the "Nuclear option" or whatever law Harry Reid enacted, won't save us any more.

Then I read two painful bits of text.  The first was witnesses favorable to officer Wilson’s account of events.  Most all of these refer to some rather sketchy account in the Washington Post and often use identical wording and generalities.  They all stressed that “Seven or eight Black citizens support officer Wilson’s account of events”.  But then the thing said that “unfortunately we don’t have the testimonies of any of these witnesses because they are all afraid to go on the record publicly.”  This is a major crock, because all of the news in this Ferguson case has been so staged managed that if any testimony favorable to the police had been admitted- - they would have quoted it word for word.  But they don’t have the goods and they know it.  Then I checked out the number “sixty” curious as to whether Mom had ever written out a check for paying the phone bill in August of 2008.  I remember hearing her say the words that she would do it.  But there seems to be no record of it in my files.  Instead there is that rather painful string of conversations with Paul and Judy over the week of September first, which was Labor Day in 2008.  Strangely there is a third incident here of Mom telling me that even if I got off cigarettes, it’s a fact I’d never say off of them but would go right back, even after over the physical addiction.   One such conversation I might think I imagine or misunderstood or something.  But three conversations all with the same plot line of their going out of their way to throw cold water on my no smoking efforts, this is really strange.  In terms of the Republican convention, reports on this are almost an afterthought for this week.

The Topic Of Impeaching Obama is Alive and Well

Ted Cruise is today’s Joe Mc Carthy, except he’s a little more careful and exacting in his wording than the Wisconsin Senator was.  But it’s the same sort of thing.  Ted Cruise has said that the President personally is guilty for sabotaging the Israeli economy as a means of weakening Israel’s negotiating position.  Ted Cruise also went after Chuck Hagal accusing Hagal of accepting vast sums of money from Saudi Arabia and also from North Korea of all things.  And now Cruise is threatening a “ne investigation of this matter” because the FAA cautiously chose to shut down air traffic to Israel for 36 hours.  It’s insane!  Of course others such as Rush Limbaugh have said “It’s absurd that John Kerry should ask Israel to show restraint in their bombing barrages of Gaza.   Let’s get this straight.  Gaza is a postage stamp plot of land that is densely populated with poor defenseless Palistinians- - faced with the vastly superior military might of Israel.  Israel has lost 40 mostly military in this current conflict.  The death toll for Gaza citizens continues to mount and I’m informed it’s now over 900.  So there is an excess kill ratio of twenty to one- - and Rush Limbaugh sees no need at all for Israel to show restraint.  Of course with people like Ted Cruise “It’s the seriousness of the charge, not the presence of evidence, that is important”.  Cruise will admit “I don’t have anything to back this up but - - “ and go off leveling all kinds of charges.  Marco Rubio has gotten into the act of this “victimization” thing with Chick Filet.  Rubio insists that heterosexual marriages have been victimized by pro gay advocates, and he says “After all look at the damage they did to Chick Filet in their boycotts”.  The last time I checked- the whole gay controversy was a Bonanza for Chick Filet- - and they never got more media publicity- - and had long lines of born again Christians camped out eager to eat there and show their solidarity.  But people like Cruise and Rubio live in this alternate Universe where they see themselves as champions of “the oppressed minority of Born Again Christians” or something.  It isn’t as if Stephanie Miller is going to knock on my door and threaten my wife and kids and ruin my reputation if I immediately don’t support gay marriage.

Only 65% of the American people believe we should NOT impeach this current President.  Keep in mind growing up being taught history about Andrew Johnson, we learned that impeachment is an extreme act, and one that should be employee only as a desperate last measure.   It would seem that one third of Americans at large and 57% of Republicans believe we should impeach this President, despite the fact it would be an act of political suicide, just as it was for President Clinton in 1998 for the Republicans.  They apparently don’t care how silly it makes them look.  John Boehner didn’t “shut down” talk of impeachment the way Nancy Pelosi did with Bush- - but to keep the tea party happy Boehner is “still open to the idea” apparently, and this may figure into that Montana Republican guy’s speech this morning saying how vital it is that the Republicans take back the senate.  Of course a Republican senate would not get any actual bills passed and sign by the President, but a Republican Senate can act to try a President for Impeachment.  But if you think 65% is a reassuring number- - try getting just 65% of the questions correct in a written test at the DMV and see if they say you passed.  Try missing seven words out of twenty on a spelling test and see if the teacher thinks you passed.  My point is that impeachment is no longer the domain of fringe whacko groups but rather is an “intellectually respectable” thing to have a debate over.  A majority of the American people actively disapprove of the job President Obama is doing, and his job approval numbers have never been lower.

I’m frustrated with what I’ll refer to as the “John Boehnerization” of conversation.  It’s like talking to an empty wall or a void- - empty space.  When you try and listen to what the other person claims to be saying- - you just hear a lot of static.   Take the two Saturday morning speeches on KNX this morning.  This morning I got up a little before six as usual.  I did not have money for coffee but I did go down and get my medication from Ricardo.  President Obama gave a little pep talk on how well the US economy is doing and had statistics to back it up, and also made a few suggestions on bills we could pass to make the economy perform even better.  Now contrast this with this Montanna Republican guy who followed at 8:06.  The things he began his speech with I was in total agreement with.  He came from a hard working family and learned the value of a dollar and all that.  He said that Washington is completely dysfunctional and we can’t get anything done.  And their “work ethic” is non existant, compared to what would be expected working for any private corporation.  This whole thing of “hard work and diligence, and personal responsibility for one’s actions” I was in complete agreement with.  But then he goes off on this tyrade against President Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.  And then he has the sheer audacity to quote what he claims was the leader of this Crow Indian reservation in Montana and he says “President Obama is waging war on the Crow tribe because he won’t let us develop our coal”.   And I’m thinking “Yeah, that’s the plot of a lot of Western movies.  The Indian chiefs are complaining because we settlers won’t strip mine their farm land”.  The whole exchange was an insult to anyone’s intelligence.  He lied when he said Obama has “waged a war on coal” when the opposite is true.  Obama has been a fanatically pro Coal presidents, and has enraged environmentalists from Agusta to San Francisco with his insistence that “clean coal” is destined to play a key part of America’s energy revival.  And this whole idea that President Obama is a “job killing” President is also completely absurd.  You know- - you try and expand your own understanding of issues- - but then realize that the other side never THINKS at all.

This is Saturday morning after breakfast July 26, 2014 and of course Mick Jagger’s birthday and the anniversary of Jim Cooper moving into the Bosc house, also on a Saturday.  Now I’m informed there is a “Basque” museum in Boise, Idaho.  I don’t know what to make of that.  This machine has been working much better as to the latter part of yesterday.  So whatever CHKDSK did in blue screen that last time, seems to have worked, at least for now.  There is that cold draft of the air conditioning blowing on me now and it’s not that warm yet.  You know, I’d like to think of myself as half way intelligent and I’m trying to get smarter all the time.  Last night I looked Johanes Kepler and the three mathematical laws or planetary orbits.  Kepler died in 1630 and I thought it was sometime in the 1640’s.  The first law is that “all planets travel in an elipse”, which we all know, but what I didn’t know was that ellipses of the type he discusses have not one but two “foci” - - within the ellipse, which if a concept I can’t quite wrap my head around.  And there is some law about all points and the “sum of the distance between the foci” I’m going to need some math teacher to explain to me.  In a parabola the second “focus” is infinity.  That I get, but they go on to say that in a hyperbola- - there are also two “foci” but you flip the equation around and turn the plus into a minus sign, kind of like you do with the root trig formula.  But picturing the concept in my mind eludes me.  The second mathematical law is the one I knew about the distance traversed in orbit in an interval of time- - subdivides all of the sectors of the elipse into equal areas.  The third mathematical rule is something involving the squares of distance and even certain things cubed.  Kepler is referred to as a mathematician rather than an astronomer.  I read decades ago that Kepler used to rely on Tycho to give you specific readings for the planets to use in formulating his calculations.  One thing we appreciate is that conversation should be a give and take kind of thing.  You may write a thoughtful letter to someone like a teacher or pastor and care to sit down face to face and discuss it- - but you kind of want the other person to bring some Intelligent ideas of his own to the table, so that you can get necessary feedback and “grow”.   My big lament in life is that I have been in too high a number of conversations where the other person brought almost nothing of his own to the table and it’s frustrating.  And it’s not that their “comprehension” is merely poor- - but it’s the sort a thing a teacher would put a big, blatant red F on the paper.  Not a “Bart Simpson” kind of F where you tried studying and “just couldn’t get it” but often it’s a blatant total lack of any attempt to put forth any effort at all. It’s what I call the John Boehner effect - -  of the other person deciding a head of time it seems that “No ideas will be exchanged today”  no give and take.  Let me give you a simple example.  Uncle Bob was a meteorologist for the Air Force.  Yet if you were all the things I learned from Uncle Bob and compared it to what you get on a local TV news weatherman- - speaking to the general public- - the amount of useful information by the TV weatherman- - exceeds the useful information by Uncle Bob by- - I don’t know- - a ratio of twenty or thirty - - to one.  People can actually learn useful things from the Media.  For instance Melinda Lee said this morning that adding wine to foods actually creates new flavors in the food because the alcohol unlocks certain flavor compounds.  Fats in other foods does the same thing, which is why these low fat foods are often so inherently bland.  So it’s not a question at all of “disagreeing” with a person over something, because at least there is “something” to have a conversation about.  Not with Uncle Bob.  Worse than that- - most information I did get from Uncle Bob dates from when I was a little kid.  Uncle Bob seemed to have interactions with a lot of people who considered him a marvelous conversationalist in many ways.  But it’s almost as if he went out of his way to “hide” who he was from us- - my immediate family.  Why?

This World Is Too Much With Us

Here is a riddle put forth by Bill Gunderson:
You're going along- - and then you make a left turn, and then another left turn, and then another left turn.  In the course of time you find you are approaching two masked men.  Who are they?

Social Security is doing a fundamental cutback in services.  They are closing eighty offices, and they are reducing hours back to nine to three PM.  You also can no longer “verify your social security number” but they claim they will “save time” if they make you just apply for a new number.  (?)   People need number varifications for jobs.  These measures make absolutely no sense, but congress routinely cuts the SS administrative budget.  For the government to close down a Post Office they have to hold a public hearing but no such provision exists for SS office closings.  Meanwhile Governor Rick Petty has called out the National Guard in Texas.  Perry has claimed he as Governor has the authority to “Federalize the guard”, which he does not.  Not even congress can do that.  Only the President can do it.  But this is not an “invasion of the border”.  The border is secure and we have never had more personnel on the border.  These children are not fleeing authority but are gladly turning themselves in to authorities.  There was talk about turning some military base into a “detention center” but of course that makes too much sense, and the government never does things that make sense.  Congress has and will NOT vote the extra money that Obama asked for.  And according to Bill Press Congress is going on vacation at the end of Thursday because the heat and humidity is so bad in Washington, and the President is headed off to Cape Cod.  Congress will remain on vacation till “The week after Labor Day” and I’m not sure if they mean September 2nd or September 8th a week later.  Then congress will be back for two weeks and then be off again and will not return to work till late November.  If the Democrats take control of the House- - it could be a busy “lame duck session” in a frezy to pass any and every bill.  In terms of “Swords into Plough Shears” they say they are going to turn the Berlin Wall into a bike trail so you can ride along leisurely looking at all of the historic check points, so that the whole 93 mile trip (?) can be a learning experience.

In other far flung news Weird Al Yankivick has his first hit album in decades, called “Mandentory Fun”, which is now a number one best seller. Contrary to persistent rumor Weird Al Yankivick is very much alive.  Now there is talk about sexist culture in Japan where cartoons involving the rape of women are all the rage and Japanese men get off on that stuff.  But if a woman does a “vagina shaped kayak” then it causes all sorts of contraversey in the society because women aren’t supposed to be that liberated.  Of course if it weren’t “vagina shaped” as Chris points out, it would be a row boat and not a kayak.  Of course there is also trouble with Japanese authorities for people printing up these 3 D gun replicas that really work, and don’t even ask me how.  Even in this country this is one form of firearm the NRA frowns upon because of course the gun manufactures don’t get a profit on these sales.  It’s a little odd that there have been three major airliner plane crashes in the past eight days.  This latest air liner crashed in Timbuktu in the country of Mali in Africa.  Meanwhile Sean Hannity had leveled the charge that there is a NATO and United States conspiracy to sabotage Israel economically by closing flights into Bengurian Airport for 48 hours.  There was a 24 hour moratorium on Tuesday and then that was extended one day, and flights resumed into Bengurian late yesterday.  Closer to home Lebran James has gotten into the cupcake business, making Abigail Deveroux work overtime.  Lebran James has given 65 dozen (?) cupcakes to the neighbors, and five dozen (or sixty?) cupcakes to the police, because of all of the traffic disruption he caused.  Now they are saying that ISIS or ‘Islamic States of Iraq and Syria” are planning a massive campaign of female genital mutilations.  But possibly this is just an ugly roomer that got started, and ISIS denies it.  All the same I’d have the Third Division ready to Invade Iraq.   And finally we have Donald Trump opening up a new Hotel in Washington DC, as reporters joke “Done in his usual modest fashion”.    Trump claims that this is the third highest building in Washington, and that his new Hotel will become a world famous Mecca for visitors.  OK, if he says so.

Thom Hartman claims that hospitals weren’t always required to accept Emergency patients, and every time I want to see a doctor about anything the first thing they ask is what is your medical plan.  But this is where it gets screwy.  Because after Obama Care was passed they did away with this government subsidy hospitals get for doling out this Emergency service, because naturally it was assumed that the states would administer Obama Care and that states would accept free government money for Medic Aid services to patients.  But something went wrong and these things never happened.  Justice Roberts said that states did not have to accept free federal money for Medic Aid services to people in their states, and Republican governors, being the “principled” men they are- - decided that their Egos took precedence over the medical welfare of the poor people in their states, and naturally they’ll understand come election time and vote these red state bozo governors in for another term.  But the bottom line is that you have this giant “donut hole” where vast numbers of people can’t get any medical care at all.

I’d like to hit the RESET button with the tea party right, just as I’ve had to reboot this computer because it has a failing hard drive.  But this feat is no easier than hitting the RESET button with Russia that Hillary talked about.   You can say to your adversary “Please just walk me through the steps that got to our present impasse so I can understand”.   And they won’t do it.  How can President Obama think of making any deal with the right wing- - when they declared the day he took office- - by way of a Vow they have stuck fast to with an iron resolve, that they would give this President “No Quarter” and would work from day one to invalidate him as a person and to “break him” and would not pass ANY legislation from which the President would benefit in any way.  It’s as Rush Limbaugh said ‘I hope Obama fails”.   So I turn on the radio and there is a fill-in for Sean Hannity.  He’s talking about this Zuckerman fellow that founded Face Book.  I thought stock holders “took a bath” when the stock went public and they all lost a lot of money and the stock was way overpriced.  Now we are told that Zuckerman is well on the road to becoming one of the richest men in the world.  But then they insert the knife.  “Of course we know President Obama hates both wealth and private industry”.   How can they say this when President Obama has been the best friend big money ever had?   People who are “At war with you” normally don’t write you a check for Seven Trillion and don’t care how you choose to spend it, even if it’s to stuff a mattress with it.   When did we get to this age of when a disaster strikes – such as a plane downing- - their First instinct is “How can we blame President Obama for this?”  But they do it every God damned time!  And I’m sick of it!  And another thing.  You know Romney in the 2012 debate tried to blame the fact that College Graduates being in debt was the President’s fault and Romney goes “I feel your pain.  If I were President things like this wouldn’t have happened”.    Basically-  - if I’m engaging in the proper mental gymnastics and cortions- - Romney is saying that “Right now we have a Kaynsian economic policy- - and have abandoned Milton Freedman and trickle down”.    First of all for MOST of the past thirty years including RIGHT NOW- - we have been practicing supply side “trickle down”.   Do you remember Ronald Reagan taking advice from Arthur Laffer and the Laffer curve?   OK fine we gave him a chance and the thing failed miserably and the federal deficit ballooned like never before.  If he were working for me- - I would not be giving this man a Second Chance.  You would think the Republicans with their “business sense” would have come to the same conclusion, but they haven’t.   It doesn’t matter that the Laffer Curve has Failed every time it’s been tried over the past several decades- - Mitt Romney was still peddling it in 2012.

Let’s talk more about Dark Matter.  We’ve told you its properties – that it possesses Mass but does not either reflect light or absorb any light but is “insensible to light”.  My next question is- -is there anything more to this theory than gravitational “calculations” gone awry?  In other words, does this supposed Dark Matter have any “Shape” so that we either know where it IS or where it ISN”T.  In other words does it have any LOCATION in this universe?  Now on Star Trek they had this gray “Null Space” but it had boundaries, shape and location.  You knew where it was and could determine what you need to do to avoid it.  But this fictional “gray matter” for lack of a better term- - is not what we have referred to as “Unformatted Space” because how can something that is NOT “special” have any location IN our space?  Just as big a problem is how could we, who occupy space, ever enter such a realm?  So this Dark Matter we know does not contain baryons, the building blocks of atoms here.  But now I’d like to address a question you may have, and that I had- - about this (hypothetical?) Romulan matter.  Here we have a realm with different “properties” because they absorb light but don’t give any out, and are IN our gravitational field but nave no gravitational field of their own that we see.  So just what would account for this, what you might call “Electro-magnetic wave Greenhouse Effect?”   We have used the GMO analogy about DNA that “cannot occur in nature” or perhaps you would rephrase that of “Has not occurred in our nature”.   In other words it’s a case of “Man messing with mother nature”.   Just follow my logic a bit here.   It could be that in other parrellel universes there are herbs and medications from substances we don’t find on earth, or rather perhaps they USED to be on earth but have gone Extinct, but still Exist in these other parrellel universes- where the fate of man worked itself differently.  Keep in mind that in Nature (you won’t find this theorem in any book) that “Time is always in straight lines”.   But mind you we aren't actually talking about Time - - but rather the "dimension axis lines of our space" to use a metaphor from Google Sketch.  But picture this for me.  Suppose you draw a straight line on a blackboard with a ruler- - and then took away the line except for a dot at the beginning and a dot at the end, and then YOU were told to draw a line between the dots.  It would not be as straight.  So now you have “crooked” EM waves (light and gravity) eminating from this “warped space” which cannot be viewed in this Straight world.  But somehow out “Straight” EM waves can be viewed in That realm.  This is where the subject of digital algorithms comes in.  We know about MP3 music files.  These can be understood by a digital computer- - but if you pot one in your standard WAV CD player- - you will get nothing.  Do you see the mystery?   In other words “Analog” material can always be digitized.  But material that originates as digitized- - - may not be at ALL compatable or understandable in an Analog world.  So again- - Romulans use these specific digital algorithms – and when they match up, like in an MP3 file, you get Music.  Otherwise you don’t get squat.  But we told you that parrellel Universes are actually highly oblique- - - .   The Romulans cannot duplicate this “oblique” quality- - but are as it were “trapped in this Universe” because in the agrigate- - the overall “timeline” so to speak- - must STILL be in the prevailing direction of the timeline in this Universe.  OK that’s enough material for you to chew on and digest for this session.

NOW YOU"RE ENTERING THE FAR OUT ZONE    Before this computer crashes for the last time I better include this last paragraph I was planning about Cosmic stuff from the "Other Side".   The first point is that the Romulans got their technology a thousand years ago from the Lanians, and not the Alcyonized Sutterans.  So the Edomites are safe on cloaked Aldeberan VIII, because the Lanians have no intention of invading there themselves or "yanking the rug" or overriding the Romulans.  The Edomites are given protection from the Marduk or Merdoch group - - that comprise the rest of the stars of Taurus the Bill.  As you know of the 'three religions of the Book, Christianity, Judaism and Islam, ONLY Christian believes in the doctrine of "Blood Atonement" or the shedding the blood of the Innocent (either animal or human) for the remission of the Sins of the Guilty.  Marduk is a Babylonian diety.   John Lennon has denied he was ever putting me on regarding that 10 - 12 -14 rapture date.  He claims he was serious as "They seemed to me to be helpful hints and suggestions".  I'll take him at his word.   John Lennon has said "George Harrison produced way better music after he left the Beatles than we produced as Beatles".  John also said "My stuff on the White album was definitely better than the psychedelic stuff" (on the albums of Pepper, and Mystery Tour and Yellow Submarine)  Since we know that Lennon only praises his NEW compositions, ones he just wrote- - it's almost deducable he was therefore alluding that someone else wrote some songs off of the White Album and we have five to propose that were not written by John.  These are "I'm So Tired", "Bungalo Bill", "Happiness is a Warm Gun", "Sexy Sadie" and "Cry Baby Cry" we propose were actually written by a fourteen year old teenager named Denise.  Of course it was Roger Waters that John Lennon learned what I refer to as the "Julia riff" style of guitar playing, that Pink Floyd sometimes employs.  Also the official version of "Pink" is not a parrellel of Syd Barret.  Spokesmen for Syd say they don't like Syd being referred to as "Pink" because of this "Staring eyes like black holes in the sky" insanity bit.  Of course Jim Morrison was instrumental in getting Pink Floyd into the ZAC Tarot Deck cannon in late 1981 after we kicked out Van Halen because after due investigation they were a Cosmic Uniknown.   (Except David Lee Roth who is a Reigel Sixer)  Other Unknowns include the first two albums of Dire Straits, R E M, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Guns and Roses, the Smithereens, Billy Joel, Tom Petti, and also the KNACK of all groups, and also certain grunge groups such as Nirvana and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  This last group has a particularly bad cosmic reputation about now and is said "To be coming from a dark place" and we said more about that (at least I think we did) last February.  But Nirvana is said to be safe because they are now an extinct group, envoking the Prager Doctrine.  Dennis Prager said that "I listen to Wagner even though he was an anti semite because he's dead now, and can no longer derive pleasure".   Nirvana was too unstable to survive as a group, or just maybe they couldn't stand being ruled by a powerful demon.

The Government Stole Seven Trillion from the US Economy

OK then it was “Ring of Fire” because they had last Sunday’s show up.  If this computer doesn’t freak out again like it did earlier let me describe the first portion, which was an interview with Thom Hartman austensively discussing his book “The Crash of 2016” but it’s the economic statistics that arrested my attention.   We have heard that the government gave the banks outright over twenty Trillion with a T - - dollars austensively to lend to the banks in business loans.  But the banks said ‘screw you’ and just sat on the money.  After all nothing was ever done about all of these Mortgage “derivitives” which would be like the star quarterback betting on the other football team in a key game.  So the banks know in advance- - the odds are stacked in favor of a default.  Let’s make it clear.  These banks were lent this money almost free is perhaps point five of one percent.  And the government turned around and paid them three percent for not doing their jobs.  Three percent is more than you or I would get on a government T bill.  And I imagine it’s all tax free.  So why should the banks take the “risk” of lending that money out with the republicans telling them ‘You know taxes in interest is going to be jacked up to 35% if Obama is reelected”.   This is the Romney “uncertainty” principle.  So the banks more than tripled their interest rate return- doing absolutely nothing, and this was just fine with President Obama and in five and a half years the President has said nothing at all about it in any public speech.  (Selah)  But the statistics are grimmer than this.  Because right now the production part of the US economy is eleven percent or maybe 13% depending on the specific survey.  And the banks have 35% of the GNP - - - so finance or paper pushing is now over a third of the US economy, which produces nothing.  Back when Reagan took office the figure was 35% for industrial production and the banks controlled nine percent of the capital gain or whatever.  Reagan is a classic tax hiker.  He doubled the income tax rate when he was governor of California. There were major tax hikes for the middle class in 1986 to make up for the short-fall of revenue from the 1981 tax cut.   Back then I’m told there was a tail wind for economic recovery due to the exploding deficit- - and also government was in a hiring mood.  Today we are five years into a “recovery” that isn’t.   But don’t blame the government debt, because contrary to the lies of people such as Rush Limbaugh- - the private economy is actually sustaining debts of over twenty trillion - - maybe thirty trillion - - and the trade deficit (which largely began under Reagan) is humungus.  We hear things about how “The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money”.  Yeah, when hell freezes over.  We have tax bills pending in congress which will eliminate the tax subsedies for corporations moving off shore, and give tax breaks for corporations returning to again HQ in this country.  But of course John Boehner won’t allow this to come to a vote even though it would pass easily in an up or down vote in the house.

THE ORIGIN OF POLITICAL BIASES - FOR DUMMIES

If you are a Righty rather than a Lefty - and say you have an open mind and want to listen to the other side - this is your lucky day.  Just to note- - I don't know which view God personally takes.  We aren't here to offer either moral judgements or mud slinging.  I'm just here to break the thing down into simple to understand logic, step by step.  According to Thom Hartman- - the Origin of the conservative mind set comes from the philosopher Thomas Hobbs, notibly in his book Leviathon.  In it he says that apart from some sort of "powerful noble rulership" mankind is destined to live a beastly life that is unproductive, btutish, and short.  He says we owe it to Kings such things as Commerce and order and higher knowledge.  These Rules were as it were 'Stand in the place of God' as it says one place in the old testement speaking of the "Elohem" or "Council of Judges".  The other side - the liberal view- - is that mankind is basically good and inherently endowed by certain inailable Rights such as life, liberty and property.  This is the view I personally subscribe to.  For much of my life I was a conservative with a liberal world view.  My Dad was a life long Liberal, however he had a substantially Conservative world view.  He idolized the Kennedy Family as people who could do no wrong.  He had certain fixed views of me which apparently never altered from a very early age.  Unlike Judy on the right, by contrast, who has very fact filled intellectual arguments to defend her conservative views,  my Dad would never try and defend his liberal views.  He just thought anyone who held conservative views was just Stupid, and the conversation ended there.  One can understand why at times in my life I thought my Dad was being completely unreasonable.  My views have shifted to the left on a few issues such as immigration, labor unions, and the subject of gerrymandering.  Once I became educated with the facts, I adjusted my views.  But even at my most conservative I would have been Mortified at the current political situation with the tea party running the country.  Congress- - has maybe eighty house members that are tea party.  And yet John Boehner persistently lets the tail wag the dog, and for these people to call all of the shots.  Indeed- - people like me used to pray for "God's rule to come" but now that I've actually SEEN what it's like, I dread it!  This change occurred in me about the fall of 2005 I guess about the time that Justice Allito was made Supreme Court Justice.  Let us go to Fox News and a line they miss in the Declaration of Independence.  There is that line about being endowed by God with certain inailable rights.  But they miss entirely the next part.  "And to secure these Blessings of Liberty, Government is instituted among men, that such government may derive its power from the consent of People.   You will not it does NOT say "and to secure these liberties - - Corporations and unregulated free markets are instituted among men".  So government is not the problem.  But we also have an issue with that by these Righties.  Because in keeping with the writings in Leviathon - - people are inherently evil and therefore cannot be trusted with the Vote.  Many on the right still believe this today, and so they would deny the vote to many people they don't deem as "worthy" and speak of their power going UP as the voter participation goes DOWN.  (Selah)  Think about this.  Also by the way I am a property rights person- - and take a very "conservative" stance on the use of Eminent Domain, which I don't believe should be employed for the conthiscation of Private Property for the use of Giant Corporations.  But you see these Conservatives believe that Corporations are good.  It's written into law mandated greed and maximum profits.  To have any value other than Profits is to violate their corporate charter.  Gordon Gecko said "Greed is Good" a contraversial statement 25 years ago, but now it's taken as accepted fact.  Since corporations MUST employ greed, and Greed is Good, therefore Corporations have to be Good.  I have spoken of how these people on the far right if they had the opportunity, would have sided with the British in the Revolutionary War because they stand for the same thing of trans-national business corporation and the merging of Church and State.  (Selah)  In fact in the "2016" movie they say that "Anti Colonial sentament" is Dangerous.  (Selah)  How can they make it any clearer?  We move on to other "Papentonio Horrors" such as this Governor Le Page of Maine, and these people that convert their dissel engines to billow out Black Smoke giving the finger to the environmentalists.  They want Creationism taught in the schools.  But personally because I have studied it- - to argue for "Creation by a higher intelligence" requires a lot of deductive reasoning and research- - and I doubt these people even HAVE the intelligence to properly study "Creation by Intelligent Design".  (Selah)   But then we have the BBC which came out and said today that they were no longer to have "Climate warming deniers" on their programs, because what they teach isn't science.  There is an all out rush for the bottom- - and to really mess up the next generation of school children in the South.  And of course Thom Hartman speaks of that famed Louis Powel letter written to Nixon in 1972 saying that we need some political indoctrination organization and we need to secure control of the Media, and the Courts to start putting our beliefs into Law.  And of course now the people are denied one man one vote due to gerrymandered house districts- - and if they had their way every one would look like strands of spaghetti.  All they need is control of the House to STOP all governmental processes- - which is their goal to shrink representative government to so small you can drown it in the bathtub.  They are not against Government per se of course.  They want to corporitize the military, corporatize the prison system, and the educational system.   Make no mistake about it.  They would positively LOVE to have their own private warped opinions to have the Force of Law.  And darn near do have that today.

We know that so much is a lie from FOX news.  The latest survey is that only eighteen percent of what FOX news says is the complete truth.  Another thirty percent is deception and half truths and misleading statements.  And just over fifty percent of what FOX news says is an outright lie.  So therefore you hear things repeated like that Nancy Pelosi statement about “We have to pass the Health Care bill so you can find out what’s in it”.  You will note she used the word “You” in that sentence and not “We”.  The ‘You’ in that sentence is You the Public, because once you get away from the media hysteria and look at it, you’ll see.  But of course the original Nancy Pelosi statement has been viewed five hundred times, where is the edited “Tweets” have been viewed tens of thousands of times.   Of course even religious people get it wrong.  Jesus Christ spoke of the Kingdom OF Heaven, not the Kingdom IN heaven.  Indeed the Lord’s prayer reads “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on EARTH, as it is in heaven”.  You say it every Sunday and never realize the Kingdom Jesus was speaking of- - is one here on earth, along of lines of “The meek shall inherit the earth”.   Barock Obama is chronically misquoted such as when he said “The private sector is doing fine” referring to- - business profits and stock prices.  But the Romney people go “Look you poor out of work people - - I really feel for you but your President doesn’t.  He thinks you’re doing just fine”.   There is of course the lie that President Obama eliminated the work requirement for Welfare by executive order.  The Sean Hannity show airs clips of liberals at the start of his show- -that make sense to me- - but I get the distinct impression that “These are sentiments you WON’T find on our show”.  Sean Hannity made the statement today that “The fate of Israel and the United States are inexorably tied together”.   Actually, the tea party people would like to move Israel to the Right- - on foreign policy.   I once heard someone say they’d like to make Israel the 51st state.  But under the misimpression that Israel had some official Jewish “State Church” they went on to state that “of course if we did that- - we’d allow State’s Rights as far as religion is concerned”.  (?)

In yesterday’s “Days of our Lives” (viewed on line this morning) episode the highlight of which was Samantha and Caroline Brady and talk of letting go of hate and resentment.  Personally I do not buy this line of Caroline that resentment is never a good thing.  My big beef is not the idea that hurt causes resentment, but rather- - I think the whole issue is bogus.  As you will remember the engagement was “off” at the time, and Samantha had thrown EJ out of her bedroom.  As Will points out- - EJ had sex with Abigail to quiet her curiosity so she wouldn’t ask too many questions about Nick.  And the affair ended months ago and it’s Samantha who’s thrown the two of them together and engaged in this massive charade- - almost as bizarre is Norman Bates talking with his dead mother as if she were still alive and he never murdered her.  I mean when you think of other issues Samantha has let slide like the faked kidnapping of their daughter, or the whole Stephano framing her for murder and then demanding a heavy bail out price, or worst of all the whole drug and sex thing with Eric and Christine.   Keep in mind Nicole only had a few pieces of paper with a doctor’s name on it that she concealed from Eric.  Samantha knew everything about the whole conspiracy from the horse’s mouth- - and kept silent, and by the way is still keeping silent what she knew and also when she knew it.   Somehow Samantha’s own atrocities mean nothing to her and don’t prick her conscience- - even her betrayal of Raphael means nothing to her - - but like I say it’s almost as if finding about this one peccadillo “made her day” and gave her the excuse to do what she so much enjoys doing anyhow- - which is to go on an angry self righteous tyrade.

I've thought about my brother's remarks about "One day you'll discover a scientific truth that is unique but will eventually become generally accepted.  I think I have one.  Einstein says that mass of objects increases with speed.  I maintain that it does not in the slightest- - unless the acceleration rate is well in excess of one hundred G's or something.  All a man can take is about eight or nine G's so this is not a problem.  It does not matter in the LEAST how FAST you are going.  The reason why the Mass does not increase- - is because only the distribution of the gravitational field Around the object changes.  Picture a circle with an Earth symbol in it of an orb and cross to represent Any Planet.  Now picture one such Orb with a vertical Oval around it.  Now picture another with a horizontal Oval around it.  This is how the "mass" is "distributed" when you are either Approaching or Departing from an object.  For the flattened Oval.- - this is the one Approaching an object.  It's like looking in a rear view mirror of a convex mirror where "Objects are closer than they appear" and time gets "sped up" and distant objects are right behind you out of the blue.   The other with the vertical Oval- - is the one for Departing objects.  This is like viewing life through a telescope.  Distant objects appear closer.  An Italian sports car may be headed right at you but you have nothing to fear because it's obviously traveling so slowly, at least it looks that way.  For the flattened first oval- - mass appears to decrease and time to speed up.  For the second vertical oval- - mass appears to increase and time to slow down.  But these are Appearence and do not reflect actual Reallity.  For an obvious example of what I'm talking about- - nobody would say "Mirages are real physical entities on a desert highway and are larger on really hot days than on days that aren't so hot".   No.  No one would say Mirages are real.  And yet this is the mindset Einstein freaks are trapped in.  Mass does not increase with speed.  Mass does not decrease with speed.  If the agrigate MASS of something could be altered, than Man would be in the position of God being able to Create mass at will.  (Selah)   This is why I am an objectivist.  Because I believe in things the way they really ARE- - and not the way they are Perceived- - even by a Scientist.
